An Emmy Award-winning actor is coming to a local supermarket later this week.
Kelsey Grammer will be at the Tops Market at 2101 Elmwood Ave. in Buffalo on Thursday. He'll also be at a Penfield Tops on Friday.
Grammer will be at the supermarket to promote his Faith American Ale and Faith American Calico Man IPA.
It’s actually something that’s been brewing for a while. The star who spent so much time on a bar stool on the set of Cheers actually started his Faith American Brewing Company in 2015 in the Catskill, in Delaware County.
According to Forbes, Grammer began brewing his beer in 2019, but shut down production during the pandemic.
Now production is ramping back up.
“We have a great relationship with his line, Faith American Ale, that he just recently launched just within the past several years," said Tops spokesperson Kathy Sautterand. "It’s just wonderful that he’s going to be coming into our stores to be able to meet and greet with some of his biggest fans."
Grammer will be at the Elmwood Avenue Tops on Friday from 2-3:30 p.m. and Tops said that fans can buy a four-pack of the beer to be autographed by the actor.
