Jericho Road Community Health Center in Buffalo is getting over $1.2 million in federal funding through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Rep. Brian Higgins (D-Buffalo) noted the money will be used to promote wellness and deliver quality health care to local residents.

Jericho Road's founder and CEO Dr. Myron Glick said the grant will help the health center not only to stay open, but also to expand services from its multiple locations.

This is in addition to more than $720,000 in American Rescue Plan funding that was awarded in September. Jericho Road is using that funding to create a call center to handle the increasing call volume, and the demand for behavioral health services created by the pandemic.
