An Allegany County teenager has been charged with two counts of murder and two counts of manslaughter in connection with a fatal fire Thursday morning in the Town of Clarksville.
William Larson Jr. was taken into custody Thurday. Two people died in the blaze at a home on Courtney Hallow Road. They have not yet been positively identified and their cause of death has not been determined.
Larson, 17, was at the scene when firefighters arrived, but had fled by the time state police were called in. He was located after several hours of searching.
Larson has been transported to the Erie County Youth Services Center. He's being held on $50,000 cash bail/$100,000 bond. The incident remains under investigation.
