A 10-day strike at a large Southern Tier dairy facility has come to an end.
Officials of Teamsters Local 264, representing over 200 workers at the Friendship Dairies in the town of Friendship in Allegany County, voted by a more than 2-1 margin Saturday to approve a new three-year contract with the company's owner, Saputo Dairy of Montreal.
The new deal includes a 4% raise over three years and employees will keep their current health care plan, as they returned to the job Tuesday evening.
