Public art is once again a hot topic in Buffalo. Such art has always been around. The replica of the Statue of David has been gracing Delaware Park near the Buffalo History Museum for decades. But last year's arrival of "Shark Girl" at Canalside has attracted plenty of attention.
WBFO's Mark Scott is joined by Buffalo Spree editor Elizabeth Licata in this week's Press Pass to talk about how public art can spark varied reaction.
Also, Mark and Elizabeth preview this Thursday's Buffalo Spree party at the Shea's Performing Arts Center where the magazine's Best of Western New York will be announced.
