The Eternal Flame Trail at Chestnut Ridge Park is closed until further notice.
Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz announced on his Twitter page the popular trail was closed after two incidents invovling injuries Saturday. He said people hiking the trail had to be extracted by first responders.
Poloncarz said the Erie County Parks Department will share reopening details when it's safe.
