With five new plows added to Erie County's snow-removal fleet and access to 20,000 tons of salt, county officials believe they're ready for the winter season. In a morning interview with WBFO, Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz encouraged the public to prepare as well. He says residents should stock up with food and other necessities, including a 10-day supply of prescription drugs.
