A Niagara County man is under arrest following a fatal two vehicle collision in the Town of Royalton Saturday night. Sheriff's deputies say 58-year-old Mary Beccari of Ransomville was pronounced dead at Eastern Niagara Hospital in Lockport.
Twenty-three-year-old Nathaniel Miles of Royalton was charged with vehicular manslaughter and DWI.
According to deputies, Beccari was a passenger who had exited her vehicle after it pulled over. While she was standing in front, Miles' car slammed into the stopped vehicle, which then struck Beccari.
