Over 40 World War II and Korean War veterans gathered at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport early Saturday morning preparing to leave for the nation's capital.
An organization called Honor Flight Buffalo, will take the vets to D.C at no charge to visit monuments dedicated to war veterans for their service. They will fly to Baltimore, Maryland and then travel by bus to Washington D.C.
The tour of memorials include visits to the WW II memorial, the Vietnam Memorial and Arlington Cemetery.
