The Adirondacks in upstate New York is one of the biggest tourist destinations in the U.S., with millions traveling to the small towns each year.
But troubling racial incidents in the Adirondacks this summer have sparked conversations among some visitors and experts in the tourism industry who say that people of color do not always feel welcome or safe there. Brian Mann of Here & Now contributor North Country Public Radio reports.
