One man was killed and another seriously injured in a high speed car crash near Martin Luther King, Jr. Park last night. Police are investigating the location near Fillmore Avenue and North Parade where a vehicle struck a pole and a tree before coming to a stop. The identities of the occupants have not been disclosed.
The injured passenger has been transported to ECMC.
The driver was declared dead at the scene.
