Attorney seeks to shine light on local government

Berzerwolf.com

After helping create Open Government Boards in Amherst and in Williamsville - a local attorney is looking to form a larger regional group. As WBFO's Chris Caya reports - Paul Wolf's resume includes working for Erie County and the City of Buffalo.

A member of the legal community wants to make government more transparent. Attorney Paul Wolf, who's worked for Erie County and the City of Buffalo, is forming the Buffalo Niagara Coalition for Open Government. There are hundreds of groups across the nation, but Wolf says, there is no local organization devoted to the issue.

"I'm not looking just to complain or embarrass people, I want to help educate people as well. Whether they're citizens or just government officials. I think there's a lot of misunderstandings about the laws," Wolf said.

He's seeking like minded people, citizen activists, journalists, tech people, grant writers and other attorneys to help launch the nonpartisan, nonprofit, open government group. Paul Wolf can be contacted at: PaulWolf2@gmail.com
