biography.com

On Sunday morning Mayor Byron Brown, Niagara Falls Mayor Paul Dyster and others welcomed the crew for the movie "Marshall" to the City of Buffalo and Western New York.

The movie will be a biopic about Thurgood Marshall, the first African American Supreme Court Justice.  The formal welcome took place in downtown Buffalo on the steps of City Hall. The film is expected to bring over $20 million to the City of Buffalo.

Production will take place in Buffalo, Niagara Falls and Erie County from now through early July.
