Saturday's beautiful weather was favorable to Western New Yorkers as they celebrated "I Love My Park Day".
The statewide event brings people together to clean up and beautify parks and historic sites. Activities that took place at state parks included planting trees and gardens, cleaning debris, and restoring trails.
Over 110 parks across New York State are recognizing the fifth anniversary of "I Love My Park Day". Many gathered in Depew to clean and maintenance Reinstein Woods Nature Preserve.
To get involved with park activities at Reinstein Woods Nature Preserve you can simply visit as they hosts trail projects at 6:30 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday during the spring and summer months.
