WBFO News

An Olean resident was taken to a New Jersey hospital yesterday after a most bizarre incident. Dan Klice was working as a field judge at a track meet in Northern New Jersey when he was struck in the heel by an errantly tossed javelin. Firefighters had to use a saw to cut the javelin before the 57-year-old Klice could be loaded into an ambulance.

The injury is not considered to be life threatening.
