Both sides have agreed on a settlement in the civil trial against Dr. James Coarasanti. The parents of teenager Alix Rice filed the wrongful death suit against Corasanti, who was driving while intoxicated when his vehicle struck and killed Rice on Heim Road in 2011.
Richard Sullivan, Corasnti's attorney, says his client is extremely remorseful and will never put this tragedy behind him.
Rice's parents and attorney will hold a a news conference Tuesday to discuss the development.
