Holy Angels church will be the scene of a Mass Mob Sunday. This will be the seventh in a series of Mass Mobs that have brought throngs of supporters to some of Buffalo's oldest churches and neediest parishes.
The city is filled with a number of historic churches, and Mass Mob co-founder Christopher Byrd says that these events are the perfect opportunity for people to visit and appreciate some of the region's outstanding structures.
"It gives people a chance to experience one of these grand old churches that were built a hundred to a hundred fifty years ago that are just beautiful artistically, they are beautiful architecturally. They're part of the fabric of and part of the heritage of Buffalo."
Holy Angels is located on Porter Avenue in Buffalo. The mass is scheduled to begin at 10:30.
Mass Mobs have already been held at Saint John Kanty, All Saints, Saint Thomas Aquinas and Assumption Churches among others.
