The Buffalo Bills 22-10 loss to the San Diego Chargers on Sunday disappointed many fans, who expressed themselves by leaving in droves early in the 4th quarter. "At the end of the day yesterday, they lost to a very good Chargers team," said Matt Sabuda on WBFO's "Beyond the Playbook."
"The Chargers are a team that last year went on the road, won a playoff game. They're a very good team with one of the better quarterbacks (Phillip Rivers) in the league. They showed it yesterday."
The Chargers built a 17-point lead before the Bills cut the lead to 10 points early in the 4th quarter. They would get no closer, losing 22-10.
"It's going to be very difficult for a young team, particularly on offense, to be relied on to put together a come-from-behind victory."
The Bills visit the Houston Texans next Sunday, part of a two-game road trip for the team.
"Sometimes it's not an over-thinking scenario where we have to say 'are they this bad,' or 'are they this good.' Sometimes, players just don't have a great game."
