The victim brutally beaten at Molly's Pub on Main Street in Buffalo in May has died. Buffalo Police spokesman Mike DeGeorge telling WBFO News he can not confirm the death. However, the Buffalo News reports the Police Commissioner and Erie County District Attorney confirm William Sager, Jr. has died.
Sager was pushed down a flight a stairs inside the bar on May 11th and has remained in a coma. Bar manager Jeffrey Basil was charged with attempted murder and first-degree assault.

At Basil's recent court arraignment Assistant District Attorney Christopher Belling told the judge the case was quote "a minute away from becoming a murder case." Basil has also been accused and charged with tampering with evidence. the bar Sager was an Air National Guardsman.
