Bullying behind mother's push for teen fight

Niagara Falls resident Eula McCray was arrested last week on multiple charges for forcing her teenage daughter into a fight. A recording of the scuffle appeared on a social media site. Now, McCray's family is defending her actions because police failed to intervene in a case of bullying targeting McCray's daughter. Police denied awareness of the case, but the family has produced a report, filed with Niagara Falls Police in September, detailing the abuse the teenager suffered.

McCray encouraged the fight in response to the treatment her daughter was facing. Police state they cannot act without witnessing the bullying, but are planning to follow up on the case.
