The Federal Emergency Management Agency released new funding this week designated for the TLC Hospital Network and the Lake Shore hospital. The $1.2 million come in response to financial troubles faced by Lake Shore and the destruction of Tri County Memorial Hospital in Gowanda during the flood of 2009. The TLC Health Network is seeking more financial partners in an effort to emerge from Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

The FEMA funding resulted from a bipartisan effort between Republican Congressman Tom Reed and Democratic Senator Charles Schumer.
