Academy Award-winning actor Philip Seymour Hoffman died Sunday in Manhattan. The native of the Rochester suburb of Fairport cultivated a strong connection with Upstate New York. Buffalo Niagara Film Commissioner Tim Clark recalls Hoffman using Buffalo as a location for one of his films.
