The police chief in Lackawanna is facing a potential lawsuit due to his involvement in an injury hit-and-run accident. Chief James Michel was responding to a bank robbery call in an unmarked SUV when he struck another SUV at an intersection along Ridge Road. That second truck then hit another vehicle.
