Western New York Congressman Chris Collins has weighed in on President Obama's comments on Syria. In a statement, the Clarence lawmaker said he was pleased the President made the decision to receive authorization from Congress before ordering a military strike on Syria. He claimed that "[t]his situation is extremely complex and it is appropriate for all the representatives of the American people to vote on this critical decision."
Collins said he would travel to Washington Sunday as House members participate in a classified briefing.
The Congressman said he would base his vote on a thorough review of all the available intelligence.
