Local skiers and snowboarders have received good news.
In light of the dearth of measurable snow around most of the region, Holiday Valley announced its winter season opening on Saturday. The resort has been making snow to provide what Mother Nature has not. Access to the hills is limited with only four slopes and three lifts open at the moment.
Visitors to the resort will also have the amenities of a new lodge to enjoy.
