Brutal attack in nursing home brings charges

An attack at a Tonawanda senior nursing facility has left one resident in critical condition.

Salvatore Trusello was beaten by his roommate Chester Rusek with a heavy magnet tied to a string. Both men are in their late 80's. Rusek contends that Trusello was stealing from him and was looking to get revenge. Trusello's family doubts the accusations. Rusek turned himself in and faces multiple charges

Trusello suffered life-threatening injuries, including a number of fractures.
