Press Pass: Buffalo Spree "Game Changer" on historic preservation

This month's issue of Buffalo Spree profiles Western New York "game changers" -- 24 local movers and shakers who are shaping the "new" Buffalo.  One of them is Dana Saylor-Furman, an historical researcher who is involved in building preservation.

Saylor-Furman joined Buffalo Spree Editor Elizabeth Licata for this week's Press Pass with WBFO's Mark Scott.

Two threatened buildings in the Buffalo area have been in the news lately.  A judge removed the last obstacle that was keeping the city of Lackawanna from demolishing the old Bethlehem Steel administration building off Route 5.  Meanwhile, there's a new plan for saving at least some of the Trico Building in downtown Buffalo.  We address both issues with Elizabeth Licata and Dana Saylor-Furman.  Licata says demolition of the Bethlehem Steel building could happen any time now.
