As many as 1000 people attended a memorial mass on Saturday at St. Louis Church in Buffalo, remembering the short but vibrant life of Isabella Tennant.

The five year old girl was murdered and her body found in a garbage tote in Niagara Falls. A family friend, 16 year old John Freeman, faces a second-degree murder charge in the case, and 18 year old Tyler Best is accused of evidence tampering.

Isabella's father thanked the community for the outpouring of support as the family recovers from the tragedy.
