Parole interview set for Chapman

Mark David Chapman, the man convicted of killing ex-Beatle John Lennon, will be interviewed by the parole board this week.

Chapman has unsuccessfully faced the board on six previous occasions. He pleaded guilty to second degree murder after the 1980 shooting and was sentenced to 20 years to life the next year. Chapman is currently housed in the Wende Correctional facility, a maximum security prison.

His last parole hearing was in 2010.
