Interested observers get their chance to meet the third finalist on the candidate's list to become Buffalo's new school superintendent.
Doctor Pamela Brown will meet Monday afternoon with reporters before appearing at a 6 p.m. public reception at Waterfront School.
Brown works currently with an educational center in Massachusetts. Prior to that she served as an Associate Superintendent in Philadelphia's public schools.
The other finalists, Edward Newsome, an Assistant Superintendent in Baltimore, and Amber Dixon, Buffalo's Interim Superintendent, have already gone through the public interview process.
Brown began Monday with a briefing by the cabinet on the state of the Buffalo School District. She will then visit city school and meet with the media at 1:30 p.m. at City Hall.
Brown will also participate in individual discussions with stakeholder groups.
