St. Joe's Collegiate Institute selects new President

St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute

St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute has named a new president.

The school's Board of Trustees Tuesday announced the appointment of Christopher Fulco as the new head of the Catholic college preparatory high school for young men. Fulco will take over at the private Kenmore school June 30, 2018, upon the retirement of current President Robert T. Scott.

“Dr. Fulco’s track record in fostering collaboration and innovation both inside and outside of the classroom combined with a deep commitment to his faith make him the right choice to sustain our mission to provide high-quality, Lasallian Catholic education,” said Board Chair John Berger.

Scott announced his retirement in May and is leaving a nearly half-century-long legacy at the private high school in Kenmore. He will continue to be involved with St. Joe's alumni, supporters and benefactors.

Fulco comes to St. Joe's from Woodlynde School in Strafford, PA, after a nationwide search. As head of that school, he is responsible for the operations of all departments.

Fulco's education career dates back to 1996, when he was an admissions counselor, teacher and coach in the Washington, DC area.
