Buffalo man sentenced to 21 years for toddler's death

Nathaniel Baker pleaded guilty to manslaughter in December.

A Buffalo man was sentenced virtually in State Supreme Court Wednesday in connection with the beating death of his girlfriend's two-year-old child Jan. 7, 2020.

Nathaniel Baker, 24, was given a determinate sentence of 21 years in prison, followed by five years of post-release supervision. Baker pleaded guilty to first degree manslaughter last year on Dec. 7.

The toddler, Jordan Robinson, was pronounced dead after being taken to Erie County Medical Center from a home on Theodore Street in Buffalo.
