The woman facing several state and federal charges in connection with driving into a line of police at a Buffalo protest was released from federal custody Thursday.

Deyanna Davis, 31, was turned over to the U.S. Marshals Service from the Erie County Holding Center Wednesday. On Tuesday, U.S. District Court Judge Jeremiah McCarthy approved the conditional release, saying he believes the prosecution has not proven Davis drove into the officers voluntarily the evening of June 1 on Bailey Avenue.

She will be at her home with her husband and children with numerous restrictions, including an electronic ankle monitor. Davis was reportedly wounded by state police as she drove away from the scene, and prosecutors say she was under the influence of drugs and alcohol at the time.

One state trooper was critically injured in the incident, and another trooper and a Buffalo Police officer were also hurt.
