Arrest made in shooting death of Nardin graduate

An arrest has been made in connection with the death of a 2001 Nardin Academy graduate and a companion last month in Maryland.

Ashley Dickinson, 34, a Hamburg native who was working in Washington, D.C., and Joshua Frazier, 29, of Virginia were found shot to death in her running car February 15 in Burtonsville, MD.

Gregory Terrell Jones, 24, was arrested in Gaithersburg, MD and charged with two counts of first-degree murder. He and his cousin, Tyshon Jones, had apparently met Frazier as part of a drug deal.

Tyshon Jones was killed in a police standoff two days later, and a gun recovered from Gregory Jones matched the bullets that killed Frazier and Dickinson.

The relationship between Frazier and Dickinson is uncertain, although he may have been serving as her personal trainer.
