Two actors with Buffalo roots who "made it big" will share with acting students next week. Roslyn Ruff, Broadway star active on TV and in film (The Help) comes back to Buff State on Monday, April 13 at 4 p.m. to conduct a workshop in The Flexible Theatre for young actors in any medium. Roslyn will then engage in a discussion with the general public at 5:30 p.m.

Stephen McKinley Henderson will be part of a panel discussion on Tuesday, April 14 at 3 p.m. in the Mainstage Theatre in UB's Center for the Arts.  Stephen will join Anthony Chase for an "Inside the Actor's Studio" style conversation on Wednesday, April 15 at 7 p.m. in Lippes Concert Hall on the UB Amherst campus.

Stephen McKinley Henderson returns to UB on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Meanwhile, there will be a Bingo show at O'Connell and Company at The Park School opening this week, but it will be "Betsy Carmichael's Late Nite Bingo" starring Joey Bucheker as Betsy. Also this week "Love, Sex, and the IRS" opens at the Grange Theatre in Hamburg and "Singin' in the Rain" opens at the Lancaster Opera House. Rodgers and Hammerstein's "Carousel" (which Richard Rodgers said was his favorite of all his musicals) opens on Wednesday, April 15 at 7 p.m. at Musicalfare Theatre.
