Tonawanda, NY – A house explosion and fire in the Town of Tonawanda left one man with serious burns.
Tonawanda Police and say it happened shortly after 9 a.m. Wednesday morning at a duplex at 9 Hale Court in the Sheridan Parkside District.
An unidentified 23-year-old man was severely burned and was taken to the Erie County Medical Center.
Police say another man and three children did managed to escape the blaze. Residents living near the scene say they heard an explosion.
An investigation into the cause is underway.
