By WBFO Newsroom

Buffalo, NY – Erie County District Attorney Frank Sedita has announced the indictment of a Getzville man for a fatal crash on the Kensington Expressway.

24-year-old Matthew Ruckdaschel has been indicted on three counts of aggravated vehicular homicide and two counts of second degree manslaughter.

Ruckdaschel drove the wrong way along the 33 during the overnight hours of January 22 at a high rate of speed slamming into another vehicle.

Orlando Anderson of Buffalo and his cousin Thomas Johnson of Cleveland were killed. Sedita said Ruckdaschel's blood alcohol content was at least .18%, more than twice the legal limit.

Ruckdaschel will be arraigned before Eire County Court Judge Michael Pietruszka next Wednesday, Aprl 13 at 4 p.m. at the Erie County Medical Center where he continues to recover from his injuries.
