Buffalo, NY – Protesters gathered at City Hall in Lackawanna on Saturday to express their outrage over comments made by a School Board member on a social networking site.

Kevin Rozwood is accused of posting profanity laced statements of an anti-Arab nature on his Facebook page. The posting drew harsh criticism from the Muslim community, and protester Edris Ahamed voiced the anger and frustration felt by those who gathered.

Rozwood resigned his post with the School Board, claiming in a letter that he holds no prejudice against Arab-Americans or Muslims. The resignation was accepted by the Board.

Many in the community are also calling for Rozwood to be removed from his post as a city police dispatcher.
