Buffalo, NY – Western New York Congressman Chris Lee dropped a bombshell late Wednesday afternoon.
Lee announced his resignation in the 26th Congressional District after a photo and story surfaced on a tabloid Website. It stated that the married Congressman sent a shirtless photo from his Blackberry to a Maryland woman on Craigslist.
WBFO'S Eileen Buckley spoke to two powerful republicans from this region last night -- former Erie County Party Republican party chairman Bob Davis and former Repubilcan Congressman Tom Reynolds, who retired from the seat prior to Lee's election in 2008.
