Buffalo, NY – The Buffalo City Ballet Company has been training local dancers for 38 years. This weekend it will present its annual production of The Nutcracker at the Buffalo Academy for the Visual and Performing Arts.
WBFO'S Eileen Buckley visited the dance company's ballet studio at the Tri-Main Center to meet with the executive director and some Buffalo City Ballet dancers learning that the company continues to train new pre-professional dancers under tough budget constraints.
The Buffalo City Ballet Nutrcracker will be performed Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m.
