Buffalo, NY – Buffalo Police used a new technology to capture a thief in a Friday afternoon bank heist.

Angelique Guillory was charged with first degree robbery and criminal possession of stolen property after she nabbed twenty-five hundred dollars from the Bank of America on East Delevan Avenue. A GPS tracking device placed in the money bag led officers to an easy arrest.

Mayor Byron Brown alludes to the fact that the success of this latest advance is not the end of ingenuity that will be employed by the police department.

The GPS device led officers to a nearby garbage tote where Guillory was hiding with the money in hand.
