Buffalo, NY – Election 2009 is history. The two incumbents for county-wide office who were seeking re-election won -- Sheriff Timothy Howard and Comptroller Mark Poloncarz. And Republicans captured three seats in the County Legislature, reducing the Democratic majority to nine to six.
