Buffalo, NY – Jim and Tony really enjoyed Doubt, A Parable, the Buffalo United Artists presentation at the Alleyway Theatre. They characterize John Patrick Shanley's Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning play as a good drama, with comic elements. We also hear about a show for kids, The Boxcar Children at the Allendale Theatre. Although it's closing on Broadway, the travelling company of Legally Blonde: The Musical is about to begin a one week run at Shea's. Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story at MusicalFare Theatre has been extended until October 19th, and the Ujima Theatre's 30th anniversary staging of In De Beginnin' will continue into November. We also hear which productions are closing soon.
