Buffalo, NY – State Board of Regents Chancellor Robert Bennett told reporters that he is waiting for legal review of the McKinley High School investigation.
McKinley has been embroiled in controversy for months over the lengthy suspension of Jayvonna Kincannon. Bennett says he is waiting for a final review of two reports. Both were investigations into the McKinley incident.
Bennett says the state education department's chief legal counsel in Albany is conducting a review. But Bennett would not say if he was pleased with how the Buffalo School District handled the matter.
