Detective Delano Nominated to All-Star List

By Eileen Buckley

Buffalo, NY – Suspended Buffalo Police Detective Dennis Delano has been nominated to America's Most Wanted All-Star law enforcement list.

Detective Delano remains on suspension from the Police Department. But someone decided to nominate Delano to the America's Most Wanted All Star list. It is to honor members of law enforcement, firefighters and other first responders for their every day work in keeping communities safe.

Delano is the second person from Buffalo to be nominated. Last year, injured Buffalo Police officer Carl Andolina was nominated and won.

Steve Katz is supervising producer with America's Most Wanted. Katz was not able to talk about Delano's story because of the controversy surrounding his case.
