By Kenny Macdonald
Buffalo, NY – Some may consider his songs simply melancholy, but that designation lacks description of the true depth of singer/songwriter Brian Wheat.
Introspective rather than sad lyrics and catchy, lonely guitar hooks helped make the Gasport native the winner of Buffalo Spree's best solo performer award this year.
Brian played last week at Mohawk Place to a modest, but growing crowd. New potential devotees, drafted from patrons who came to see other acts that night.
More of Brian's songs and interview can be heard Friday night at 8:00 during Buffalo Avenues.
