Buffalo Lawmaker Wants Help from Special Police

By Eileen Buckley

Buffalo, NY – A Buffalo lawmaker says the City should have more help in dealing with quality of life issues.

North District Common Council member Joseph Golombek says the City should allow the Special Police to assist with quality of life issues affecting Buffalo residents.

Golombek's resolution appeared on Tuesday's Council agenda, but was sent to committee for further review. Golombek says Buffalo Police are doing a great job with violent crimes. But he says there is an increase in quality of life complaints and more policing is needed.
