Buffalo, NY – The subject of a landmark case on equality is coming to Buffalo next week to talk about her nine year court battle. Lillian Ledbetter was thrust into the national spotlight when the Supreme Court ruled against her in the pay discrimination case, "Ledbetter v. Goodyear."
The court ruled she could not sue because of time limits.
Ledbetter will be the featured speaker at the American Association of University Women dinner in Buffalo on Monday.
WBFO's Joyce Kryszak recently talked with the 69-year-old retired employee who became a champion of women's rights. Click the "listen" icon above to hear the interview now or use your podcasting software to download it to your computer or iPod.
