Raleigh, North Carolina – Former Adelphia Communications executives John and Timothy Rigas reported to the federal prison in North Carolina Monday.
They were convicted in 2004 on multiple charges of securities fraud, conspiracy to commit bank fraud and bank fraud. The Rigases had remained free while their appeals went through the courts.
A spokesman for the Federal Bureau of Prisons in Washington says the men were registered shortly after 10:30 Monday morning at a low-security facility about 45 miles from Raleigh.
