Buffalo, NY – Officials at the Erie County Medical Center are blaming county prosecutors for the delay in identifying DNA samples that exonerated Anthony Capozzi. A report released Tuesday indicates prosecutors failed to follow a protocol ECMC had established for evidence stored at the hospital.
